Datura Art Party
Datura Art Party was an event being thrown by a collective of artists and friends to raise money for local artists, we were asked to do technical direction, installation, projection and projection content for the event.
We started this project by taking measurements of the space, finding the correct locations for the projection content as well as studying the marketing materials of the event to help inspire the content.
We created the 3D environments inside of Unreal Engine 5 and used Touchdesigner to map and control the visuals. UE5 live streamed out the final render via NDI, this allowed us to control the perspective and camera placement in realtime. Inside of TD, we had options for adding 2D graphics and overlays - and adding more audio reactive elements to the content.
